Miss me? I am back!
Not much different here. I have two beautiful boys now and hubby is still in the National Guard. He spent his year in Iraq is is possible looking at going back... not by choice. Our prayers are big that he can stay here. I quit my job and stay home raising my babies. Life is good and I have little to complain about. Coffe filters would have been good this morning but oh well.

Poor Baby Boy...
Yesterday when I got home from work he had a fever of 102.2. I gave him Children's Tylenol and within an hour it was down to 101.1. He seems to be teething. He has been fussy today. He doesn't want to eat food, just formula. I can get him to eat food after a dose of Tylenol but that is about it. The little guy isn't himself, he went to bed at 9p.m. tonight. I will be calling his doctor in the morning. Better safe than sorry.

Birthday Wishes From Here to Iraq!
On this day, Twenty Seven years ago, the man of my dreams was born. Who knew, we lived so close already and wouldn't meet for 23 years 2hrs. away from where we started out. I guess all the akward high school relationships were just payment for the awesome relationship we were to have later in life. Anyway, Happy Brithday Brian! I hope this year brings you home soon and all your wishes come true. We love you!

Hopped up on Coke...
Diet Coke that is. I had a drink with caffeine for the first time in well over a year. I could only drink half because I was bouncing off the walls.
Now on to a new subject... Stupid Things People Say.
1. "Wow, I love that stroller. Where did you get it? I just love how your baby can face you. I would love to get one for my dog."
2. "So, your husband is in Iraq? I guess that isn't a place you can go visit. Can't you fly to Germany and you guys can visit more?"
3. "Oh, you can cut the apples for me? A bowl? What's that?" ... yes this person was an adult and spoke English. Thankfully his wife laughed at him.
4. I will set this one up for you. We were discussing Brian being in Iraq and how long he has been there and how long he will stay there. This is then followed by a conversation about family vacations. "The only thing I hate about vacations is that I have to spend time with my husband." and there was a reply by another woman "Oh, I know! I feel so weird spending so much time with mine. I enjoy being on my own more."
Why don't people think before they speak. I highly recommend it.

Happy Half Birthday!
Elek is 6 mos. old today! He is such a big boy. I took him for pictures at Target today. He smiled for every single one of them and we took a lot! I wanted 3 different outfits. So, there were three different themes. One in denim, one in a diaper and one military. I ordered a bunch a pics and they will e-mail me the proofs in a few weeks. This is the best because I can easily send them to Brian. That will hold him over till the wallets get there.

Tom Cruise can shove it...
Don't know if you heard but he feels that women that suffer from postpartum depression should just take vitamins. Drugs aren't needed it is just an imbalance of hormones that vitamins can cure. I must have missed the story on when he became a doctor. http://entertainment.msn.com/movies/hotgossip?GT1=6542 So, I will be adding him to my boycott list along with Brad and Angelina.
Elek is sitting on his own. He sits for a bit then falls on his side. It is very cute. Last night he got his little legs up under him and stuck his bum way up in the air.
I was too tired to post everything about my trek home so here are the rants that I left out. Do NOT use the family rest room if you are not a family. I don't care if you have luggage with you, it is on wheels and fits into a stall. A family rest room is not to help your smoking habit either. It IS for people traveling with small children and have strollers and children to keep track of. Also, do not bitch to me that you are stuck in the airport for 5 hours with just your book. I will not feel sorry for you. I am traveling with a small child and if I am going to feel sorry for anyone it is my child. He doesn't understand why he can't play on the floor and roll around. He doesn't understand why it is so noisy and he can't sleep. All he knows is that he is sleepy.

So Sleepy...
Well, we got up at 9 a.m. had a nice breakfast and made it to the airport on time for our 1:30 p.m. flight. We had a connection in N.C. and that flight was fine. Elek and I slept the entire flight. We got to N.C. in enough time to RUN to our connection at the other end of the airport. We checked in and were told that I had enough time to change Elek if need be. So we took care of him and walked back to the gate and waited and waited and waited. Finally, they say our flight has been cancelled due to the repairs needed. Everyone then takes off running to the service desk. These people looked they never ran a day in their life but all of the sudden they knew how to sprint like they were running for the gold in the Olympics. So I make it somewhere towards the end of the line. Yea me. I then get my new ticket for my new flight at 9 p.m.. Again, Yea me. So I am standing there not sure what to do when this lady askes me what flight I got, she got the 7 p.m. flight. She then told me to stay there, she was going to call her husband and tell him she was switching tickets with me. She said she had kids my age and wouldn't want them stranded at the airport with a baby. I was so touched I could have cried. So Elek and I hung out for a bit. I got him a banana and mashed it for him, he was delighted. The second flight was really wearing on him, he was SO tired. He was fussy but entertained by myself and everyone around him. He loved the attention and everyone just kept saying how sweet and good he was being. Thankfully all of our luggage made it and Elek is peacefully sleeping right now.

Makin' my way back home...
I leave tomorrow. I hope Elek keeps his schedule. I am pretty sure he will. For those of you that know me well, you know Elek sleeps with me. It was so easy when I breast feeding and then when he stopped breast feeding during the day it was an excuse to bond at night. Well, now when I lay him it seems like he doesn't even want me there next to him. He just rolls on to his tummy and goes to sleep. I am hoping this will make for an easy transition into the crib. This will make it easy when Brian comes home. I can cuddle him at night and not share. We can cuddle with Elek before bed and in the mornings. I can't wait to see Brian.
